Anda Pūce reveals: young people ask more questions than TV3 journalists ask politicians

On Shadow Day, Liepāja youth are learning to ask questions that make adults sweat more than workouts at the Olympic Center.
While in Riga adults are still learning to answer the question "How are you doing?" without using three minutes and twelve commas, Liepāja youth today on Shadow Day prove they know how to ask directly and without beating around the bush.
Anda Pūce, today's chief questioning expert, points out that when adults don't want to answer clearly, they use so many words that even the Liepāja Olympic Center pool seems shallow compared to the depth of their sentences. "These kids don't make up such nonsense that even politicians during election season start admiring their creativity," says local teacher Mārtiņš.
But today everything is different. Young people visit various professions and ask so precisely that some adults are already planning to hide in the Olympic Center's storage rooms. "They ask about all the unpleasant side effects, underwater rocks, and even about how realistic dream salaries are," complains a local entrepreneur.
Actually, this is great — while Riga youth are still learning to ask "Do you like your job?", ours are already interested in pension savings and employment contract fine print. That's the Liepāja way — going straight to the target, like wind from the sea.
