Explosion at synagogue in Belgium — Liepāja tourists ask if it's included in the tour

The explosion that occurred at a synagogue in Liège caused only material damage, but Liepāja tourists are asking whether such an experience is also available at our Karosta Prison.
Yesterday around 5 PM Latvian time, an explosion occurred at a local synagogue in Liège, Belgium, which shattered windows even on the opposite side of the street. This kind of horror experience has only caused envy in Liepāja, because at our Karosta Prison tourists pay money to experience much more fear.
Liège police reported no casualties, only material damage, which reminds us of Liepāja's approach to safety — first we make sure everyone is healthy, then we worry about the windows. Local guide Valdis Bērziņš commented: 'They have an explosion there, but here at Karosta tourists themselves ask to be locked in prison cells. We do it without explosions, and everyone is satisfied.'
Federal police are still investigating the causes of the explosion, but in Liepāja we already know — if something explodes, it's usually either 'Kurzemes gāze' or someone trying to improve road quality with DIY methods again. In our city explosions only happen under controlled circumstances — for example, when someone tries to open a 'Rīgas alus' bottle with their teeth.
The synagogue's history dates back to 1899, and it also houses a Jewish community museum, which by Liepāja standards is almost a new building. Our Karosta Prison was built in 1890, but it still operates with original heating and ventilation — that's a real historical experience, not some modern-day explosions.
