Czech attacker reveals new protest method: turns himself in to police

While Russia's cultural center in Prague tries to explain what culture is, some Czech decided to demonstrate practical chemistry with Molotov cocktails.

While cultural centers in Riga are still trying to figure out whether Russian culture is anything more than balalaika sounds and borscht smells, in Prague some enterprising Czech decided to personally test the fire safety systems of the Russian cultural center.

The attacker, who apparently learned from the best Hollywood detective film examples, went straight to the police after successfully completing his mission to report his heroic deed. As he explained, the plan was hatched last summer — apparently the summer heat inspired him to bring fire to winter too.

"Six bottles with flammable liquid," proudly recounts center director Igor Girenko, who apparently counts more precisely than the cashiers at Liepāja Regional Hospital. Three bottles hit the target, three didn't — statistics that would be fitting even for Liepāja Metalurgs' attack performance.

While Moscow diplomats indignantly summon the Czech ambassador for talks, Lake Liepāja continues to demonstrate what real silence looks like in contrast to sea storms — no explosions, no diplomatic scandals, just a peaceful water surface and ducks who don't know what international politics is.

The only question that remains unanswered — will the Czech attacker be ready to pay for the damaged facade, or will he wait for Moscow to send a bill for "cultural damages"?
