CVK prepares for elections with the same enthusiasm as a Liepāja resident waiting for a tram

Māris Zviedris talks about instructions and mobile polling stations on wheels, but the main question remains unanswered - will SKENIS this time be smarter than the average Karosta resident?
CVK chairman Māris Zviedris reported that preparations for the parliamentary elections are proceeding as planned. This means that instruction writing is in full swing, and some are even ready. Others are not yet. As my neighbor Maija from Graudu Street would say: 'Well, at least something is ready, right?'
Considering that there will be 12 shopping centers in Riga where you can vote, but only one outside the capital - in Ropaži, it becomes clear that priorities have been strictly observed. We Liepāja residents can only dream of voting at Ostmala market between potatoes and carrots. But never mind - we have our own charm: Karosta, the port, and at least two functioning trams.
The most interesting thing is that this time 'mobile stores' are planned - bus polling stations that drive to voters. Zviedris calls them mobile commissions, but I say - finally something similar to our legendary tram! Only these buses will run on schedule. As Jānis from Lielā Street says: 'If a tram can be late, why can't an election bus?'
But the most important question remains unanswered: will the SKENIS system work better this time than in the last elections? Will it be smarter than the average Karosta resident? If not, we can always count votes by hand - just like we Liepāja residents count tram delays.
