Danes Plan to Blow Up Airports if Trump's Army Arrives for Greenland — Liepāja Residents Suggest Selling Karosta

The Danish army has deployed explosives in Greenland to prevent US aircraft from landing, while in Liepāja we peacefully continue selling fresh produce.

While Riga is still arguing about whether the Daugavgrīva bridge is high enough, Denmark is already preparing to blow up its airports if the US decides to drop by for a visit. In January, the Danish army delivered explosives to two airports in Greenland — apparently they haven't heard of diplomacy.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that they are experiencing the most serious foreign policy situation since World War II. "The only reason we are in a better situation today is the fact that we have close, strong and reliable European allies," Frederiksen said, apparently forgetting to mention that they also have lots of explosives.

Our experienced market trader Jānis comments: "Well, if they keep this up, soon there will be neither airports nor ice cream in Greenland. But come to us safely — everything is fresher than in Riga and half the price, and we don't throw explosives around."

Interestingly, the US has not yet officially announced invasion plans, but the Danes are already ready to blow up infrastructure. Maybe they should learn from us — in Liepāja we also sometimes don't want visitors from Riga to show up, but we don't blow up the airport because of it.
