DG Terminal Outperforms Everyone and Earns a Whopping 145 Thousand - More Than Liepāja Museum Spends in a Year

Liepāja port terminal proudly announces a 4.7% revenue increase and profits larger than many museums' annual budgets.
Great news from Liepāja port's 25th berth - DG Terminal has proven that bulk cargo handling can earn as much as a new car costs! The company boasts a profit of 145,246 euros, which is almost as much as Liepāja Museum spends annually to maintain history that's actually interesting.
The management report states that 2024 was very challenging. Well of course it was challenging - try handling bulk cargo when Liepāja winds are blowing! Nevertheless, the company operated at a profit that would be pocket change by Riga standards, but here by the sea, it's a respectable achievement.
To increase capacity, the company acquired new fixed assets for 220,420 euros. That's enough to set up two decent cafés in downtown Liepāja! Local dock worker Valdis comments: "Well, good that they're investing, but will those machines also know how to work in this wind?"
DG Terminal belongs to Jānis Millers and Kristaps Eisters, who have apparently figured out that bulk cargo is the future. While Riga thinks about digitalization, Liepāja practically demonstrates that handling real cargo still delivers results. And with a turnover of 5.908 million euros, this terminal will soon be able to afford even coffee with milk!
