Designer Barbara Freiberga Claims She Will Blow Up Liepāja with Her Energy - Locals Already Getting Scared

While Riga designers flee abroad, Barbara arrives in our city with plans to blow everything up with her positive energy.
Barbara Freiberga, a designer from an unknown location, has decided that Liepāja will "blow her up." Local residents are already starting to worry whether this is yet another Riga "expert" who came to tell us how to live.
"Liepāja ignites a colossal light in me," says Barbara, and that's understandable – here in winter electricity costs so much that every light is appreciated. She claims that for the first time in her life she wants to stay somewhere. Well, while Durbe boasts about its tranquility, we're getting designers with "explosive" plans.
Barbara's "miraculous event" happened at the Naval Cathedral in Karosta. Perhaps she met one of the local old-timers there who told her how cheap and peaceful everything is here. Or she simply realized that here nobody kicks you out even after five years.
Now she runs the Liepāja Residency Center and is opening a micro-gallery at the railway station. While Riga thinks "platform" is something related to social media, we're already preparing for a cultural revolution. Maybe that's the energy she'll blow us up with?
The only thing we'd still like to know – will this explosion come with or without warning? Liepāja residents are already used to unpredictability, but it would be better to know in advance.
