New Captain in Reinforced Concrete: Lukašenoks Takes the Helm from Silent Jaksts

Liepāja's concrete empire has changed leadership - Artūrs Lukašenoks steps into Ojārs Jaksts' shoes, who remains silent as stone.
Seismic changes have occurred in Liepāja's concrete world - Artūrs Lukašenoks has taken over the leadership of SIA "Dzelzsbetons MB," replacing the previous captain Ojārs Jaksts. The "Lursoft" database reveals these changes with the same precision as the walls of Karosta prison - immovable and factual.
Jaksts, who led the company since March 2015, now remains silent like a true Liepāja resident in November rain. Why did he leave his position? "No comment," says the former boss, while confirming he has also left the leadership of "Daugavpils dzelzsbetons." "Well, at least he honestly said he no longer works for the UPB concern," comments local concrete expert Guntis from Liepāja market. "Otherwise it would be like with that tram - everyone talks about it, but nobody knows when it will run again."
The new captain Lukašenoks will now lead the company that earned 210.8 thousand euros in 2024 from a turnover of 23 million euros. He will be assisted on the board by Nora Kalniņa and Raitis Čivkulis - names that sound like a real Liepāja rock band from the 90s.
The true beneficiaries - Antra More, Māris Mors and Uldis Pīlēns - are probably smiling, as their concrete empire continues to grow. While Rīga is still trying to figure out what real reinforced concrete is, Liepāja has been manufacturing and exporting it for years. As the locals say: "Our concrete is like our character - strong, durable and never gives up."
