Iranian President Seeks Peace Guarantees, Advised to Relocate to Liepāja's Rose Square

Iranian President Pezeshkian announced that the country is ready to end the conflict with Israel and the US if guarantees are given about non-repetition of aggression. While Riga is still trying to figure out where Iran is on the map, Liepāja residents are already offering a solution.
"Let him come here to Rose Square," says pensioner Mirdza near Kurzeme. "We solve all our quarrels there. I once saw two drunkards become best friends after a fight right there. Guarantees? Our wind is the best guarantee – it blows so hard that you can't keep any bad thoughts in your head."
According to reports, the war started on February 28th with massive rocket strikes, but as local expert Jānis points out: "If they had our Liepāja wind, no rocket would have reached its target. Our weather conditions are better air defense than any technology."
Iran has halted traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, but work continues as usual at Liepāja port. "We've long proven that peace is possible," says a port worker. "Even if the wind blows 25 meters per second, we still work. If natural forces don't stop us, then what are some human conflicts."
Meanwhile, a special place for international talks between Iran, Israel and the US is already being prepared at Rose Square, because, as is well known, all serious matters in Liepāja are resolved right there.
