Kyrgyzstani Learns Modern Finance, But Chooses Wrong Course

This week in Vilnius, authorities detained a 27-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan who, it turns out, had been learning to use modern technology, but chose the wrong curriculum. While Riga is still trying to figure out what "Bitcoin" is, this enterprising young man was already actively transferring cryptocurrency to the armed wing of "Hamas".
The FNTT reports that the man had been in contact multiple times with the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, which is roughly like someone from Liepāja starting to write letters to Tālava partisans, only with slightly different consequences. The individual was detained at Vilnius airport after returning from Istanbul, which shows that at least his travel planning was reliable.
"We here at the Tosele bus stop have known for years that money should only be sent to those who truly deserve it," comments local resident Jānis. "This boy, it seems, didn't study with us."
Now the young man faces up to ten years in prison, which is enough time to learn to choose his business partners more carefully. Maybe next time he'll invest in a safer project — for example, restoring Liepāja's tramway system.
