Russian drone gets lost in Latvia and explodes from surprise

A Russian drone flew into Latvian airspace during the night, but upon seeing the local beauty, exploded from excitement in Krāslava municipality.
An incident occurred in Latvian airspace tonight that once again proves that even Russian drones don't know where they're flying. At 2:19 AM, radars detected an unidentified object that had crossed the border from Russia, but just 20 minutes later it exploded near Dobričina village. Apparently the drone was so surprised by the beauty of Latgale that it simply couldn't handle it.
Brigadier General Egils Leščinskis explains that the drone exploded on its own rather than being shot down, which indicates poor quality of Russian manufacturing. Perhaps the drone's navigation system was programmed with the same precision as tourists strolling on the North Pier during a storm — there's a direction, but the destination is unclear. The Russians apparently didn't have time to train their drones in proper map reading.
Even more interesting is that around midnight, another object flew in from the Belarusian side, made a small loop, and returned to Russia. This drone seemed smarter and understood that it wasn't advisable to stay here. As a local resident said: 'Well, if even drones understand it's better to fly away from here, then maybe people should think about it too.'
Prime Minister Siliņa announced that a similar incident occurred in Estonia, where a drone hit infrastructure. Apparently it's drone season in the Baltic states right now — one gets lost, another explodes, a third returns home. At least our drone chose to explode in an empty area rather than in some city, which proves that even lost objects have some basic decency.
