Russian drone wanders around Latgale like a tourist without a map — general promises not to be a friendly guide

During the night, some drone wandered around Latgale, apparently having not read the travel guidebook and not knowing where it actually wanted to go.
Last night in Latvian airspace, a real TV series unfolded about how one drone was overcome by an existential crisis. The first episode began at 00:51, when some unmanned aircraft flew in from Belarus, as if wanting to ask for directions, but then suddenly decided to head back to Russia. This 24-minute flight was like bad GPS navigation — lots of turns, but no clarity about the destination.
The second episode began at 2:19, when yet another flying object approached from the Russian side. This one was even more indecisive than the first — it disappeared from radars for 20 minutes, but continued making noise like some tourist who is lost but doesn't want to admit it. Finally at 2:35 it decided to explode in Krāslava municipality, as if it were too proud to ask for help.
General Leščinskis, who has now become Latvia's chief drone psychologist, explained that there's no evidence this was a deliberate operation. He also noted that the drone flew quite low, which explains why it avoided the major radar systems — apparently it was afraid of heights. In Riga, of course, such a situation would still be discussed in committees, but in Liepāja we know that even the sound of our Holy Trinity Cathedral's organ, which can be heard from the courtyard, is stronger than such unclear drone noise.
"That drone was more confused than dangerous," comments local resident Jānis, who was heading to work in the morning and saw the drone debris. "Here in Latgale we have much bigger problems than some lost drone — for example, where to find a good road to Liepāja without potholes." Now the army and police are collecting the drone pieces, as if it were a puzzle, only this one comes with explosives.
