Russian spies love sea air: two 'tourists' with Wagner CVs found on shadow ship

On a detained oil tanker in France, two Russians are discovered who were supposedly guarding cargo, but were actually gathering data on European military sites.

Well, look how it goes! The French detain some Russian oil tanker 'Boracay' and find two Russians from 'Moran Security Group' on it. They were there, of course, just for 'cargo security.' Yeah, right, and all the ships arriving at our Liepāja port come purely for tourism purposes.

It's especially hilarious that one of these 'guards' previously worked for Russian police and the Wagner mercenary gang. Well, that's like our Karosta - military history there too, except we use it for cultural purposes, not spying. But as old Liepāja sailor Kārlis says: 'If you're on a ship, do what you do, but don't do what you shouldn't.'

Interesting that the ship 'Boracay' is linked to mysterious drone flights over Danish military sites. Strange objects have flown over our tram too sometimes, but they usually turned out to be swans or some particularly brave cat. But seriously - what kind of job is that: sailing around with an oil tanker and spying? You don't see such 'job postings' anywhere in Riga.

The captain's lawyer's defense provides the most laughs: 'My client has nothing to do with their presence.' That's like saying Liepāja's mayor has nothing to do with Liepāja residents living in the city. The captain, of course, had no idea that two 'tourists' with a spying hobby were riding on his ship. Like any honest sailor - he just steers and knows nothing about the rest.
