Kurzeme mothers prove better than GPS - always know where to find intoxication

In three cases within one week in Kurzeme, mothers proved that finding alcohol isn't a problem, but childcare - yes.

Well look, once again Kurzeme proves we have talents that Riga can only dream of! This time three mothers simultaneously showed excellent precision in finding alcohol, but got a bit confused about childcare requirements.

The first episode took place in Liepāja, where a mother with 2.49 per mille intoxication demonstrated a new yoga position - squatting on the floor with her head in a bucket. Her little girl next to her probably thought mommy was learning to be an ice cream freezer. "At least she was at home, not wandering around Pētera Street," neighbors commented, "there she would have met too many acquaintances."

But the most beautiful was the Ventspils county case, where the children started dressing themselves as soon as the police called. These kids are smart - they know when the situation is hopeless. The mother with 2.28 per mille couldn't communicate or care, but probably could sing the good old "Oh, Johnny, what are you doing."

Ventspils offered a real show at night - a woman with 2.34 per mille was being loud in the yard with a four-month-old baby in a stroller. She probably thought she was organizing a night concert. Fortunately, the baby was too small to understand that his first night out wouldn't be his last.

Police will fine all three cases up to 210 euros. That's less than a good party costs, but as we can see, these ladies can entertain themselves on a smaller budget too. Maybe next time they'll choose less creative forms of entertainment.
