Kuwait Detains Ten Hezbollah Specialists — They Learned Conspiracy from Liepāja University Course Materials

Kuwaiti security services uncover terrorist cell that had Morse code and drones, but not Liepāja wind resistance.

Kuwaiti security services have announced the disruption of a grandiose terrorist attack plan, detaining ten Hezbollah fighters. During the operation, flags, drones, and Morse code communication devices were confiscated — everything needed for a modern terrorist cell, except, of course, Liepāja wind endurance.

Among the confiscated materials were also photographs of Iranian ayatollahs and former Hezbollah leaders, suggesting these people aren't particularly oriented toward secrecy. As one local Kuwaiti police officer commented: "They stored portraits like in student dormitories — no conspiracy whatsoever." Perhaps they could have taken some advice from Liepāja University students, who have been perfecting the art of being invisible during exams for years.

Particularly interesting was the discovery of video camera drones, which nowadays are as popular as homemade bombs once were. True, with Kuwait's desert winds, these drones would probably fly as predictably as our beach paper scraps in a November storm. Hezbollah, of course, denies any connection to those detained, which is a standard response — about as credible as claiming Riga has better air than Liepāja.

A third of Kuwait's population are Shia Muslims, so the situation is complicated. But one thing is clear — if these fighters had studied conspiracy at Liepāja University, they would know that the first rule is: you must not store compromising materials together with your contacts. That's basic course material at any normal university.
