Kuwait's Air Defense Starts Working Like Liepāja Karosta Guard - Shoots Down Their Own

Kuwait's military forces prove that even in the desert, one can be just as confused as Karosta security guards on foggy mornings.
While Riga is still figuring out how to properly assemble the gates of Daugavgrīva fortress, Kuwait has already proven - even in the desert, one can work just as efficiently as Liepāja Karosta security.
Three American F-15E Strike Eagle fighters experienced an unexpected encounter with Kuwait's air defense, which, it turns out, isn't particularly good friends with friend-or-foe identification. All six pilots ejected and are alive, which is already better than Riga traffic participant statistics.
"We thought they were Iranian aircraft," explains a Kuwaiti military source. "They were flying as fast as our tram on Grīzupes Street - that's just not normal!" Meanwhile, Karosta veteran Jānis comments: "Well, the youngsters have to learn! We once shot at Lithuanian border guards too, thinking they were Germans."
Iran, meanwhile, announced it had struck an American base with 15 cruise missiles. Kuwait is now waiting to see if their air defense will try to shoot down these missiles too - maybe they'll accidentally hit one of their own ministries. In Liepāja, such incidents wouldn't be possible - we don't have air defense, but we do have the Baltic Sea, which washes everything away.
