Laimis Rācenājs Tonight Loves Witches and Wine at Wiktorija — Riga Doesn't Understand Such Culture

Liepāja's music god returns with ballads about witch love. Wiktorija ready for exotic sounds.
Tonight at 8 PM at Wiktorija will happen what Riga will never understand — a real art event with soul. Laimis Rācenājs with his 'Ballads About Wine, Love and Witches' promises to remind Liepāja residents why we are the cultural capital, while the actual capital only thinks about money.
'It seems to me that witches personally taught him to sing,' philosophically shares Wiktorija bartender Gunārs, who is already preparing red wine supplies. 'Otherwise you can't explain this vocal magic. And anyway — where else, if not in Liepāja, can you hear real ballads about witch love?'
Joining Laimis on stage will be Ilze and Andris Grunte with their arsenal of instruments — from guitars to balalaikas. In Riga they'd call it a 'weird mix,' but we know — this is art. The wind is blowing from the right direction today, so the evening will be perfect.
Tables can be reserved by phone 20227498, but real Liepāja residents already know — at Wiktorija there's always a place for those whose hearts beat in the right rhythm. Though tickets are better bought in advance, because such events in Liepāja sell out faster than ice cream on a hot day by the sea.
