Latgale Detains Multifunctional Entrepreneur: Both Drugs and Auto Parts in One Package

In Augšdaugava region, police detain a creative businessman who combined drug trafficking with automobile spare parts 'redistribution'.
Latgale police encountered a particularly creative approach to entrepreneurship last week. A 47-year-old man turned out to be not only an amphetamine dealer with 241 grams in stock, but also an automobile parts 'redistributor'. His Volkswagen Golf served both as a drug storage facility and as a vehicle for acquiring spare parts from other Golf automobiles.
As we learned from a local resident: 'Well, at least he was consistent with car models. Golf to Golf - that's professional!' Indeed, why not put your knowledge of specific model parts to practical use?
Interestingly, the man planned to sell the drugs in Daugavpils, but had already 'sold' the auto parts there too - just from someone else's car. The total damage amounts to 1,350 euros, which, by the way, is almost half the average salary in Liepāja. In our city, such money can be earned honestly - working at the port or tram depot.
Police also found an unregistered gas pistol, which was possibly intended to improve customer service quality. Now the man will have time to reconsider his business model in prison conditions, where both drugs and auto spare parts are strictly regulated.
