Latvian residents discover: AI is better than Riga public transport – at least it responds

Survey reveals that 67% of Latvians use AI, while the rest still think it's something related to the Music Institute.

Citadele Bank together with Norstat has revealed revolutionary information – 67% of Latvia's residents use artificial intelligence for information searches. The remaining 33% are probably still trying to figure out why their phone suddenly started talking back.

Elīna Šakirova from Citadele announces that most people use AI for private needs and entertainment. So Latvians have finally found something that can answer the question "What will the weather be like tomorrow?" without having to wait for the noon news. Moreover, unlike Riga City Council, AI responds immediately and specifically.

Particularly interesting is that women use AI for text creation, while men use it for work productivity. As one Liepāja market vendor said: "I've long known that machines work better than men. Everything here is fresher than in Riga and half the price, even artificial intelligence!"

Most surprising is the fact that 82% of people aged 40 to 49 use AI. This means the same people who were afraid of Facebook ten years ago are now chatting with robots. The pace of progress is impressive – almost as fast as Liepāja wind in winter.
