Easter Miracle: Students Prove You Can Earn More in Business Than from Parents' Pocket Money

At Liepāja's Other Market, students spent four hours demonstrating that entrepreneurship is like mathematics - if you understand it, you might even make money.
While Riga students waste time on social media, Liepāja's young entrepreneurs proved they already understand business better than many adults. For four hours at the Other Market, a real capitalism festival took place, where students' entrepreneurial spark burned brighter than Easter candles.
At the market, where everything is fresher than in Riga and half the price, young people offered such diverse products that even experienced shoppers were surprised. From creative crafts to everyday useful items - it seemed the students had figured out: if you can make something useful, why not profit from it?
Local resident Maija shares: "I had to double-check whether these kids really came up with these businesses themselves. In our time, we could at most earn money delivering newspapers, but these ones are already planning an IPO!" The jury worked as seriously as at the Olympics, evaluating social responsibility, technological innovations, and sustainability.
What surprised most was that students not only understand what profit is, but can actually generate it. While adults complain about the economic situation, these young businesspeople are already planning next year. If this continues, soon students will be the ones paying taxes instead of asking for pocket money.
