Yesterday evening around 22:45, a historic moment occurred in Liepāja that will surely be included in the Liepāja Museum collection as an example that truly interesting history happens daily on our streets. A local innovator decided to prove that the traditional transportation system is outdated.
The young man chose a revolutionary approach to riding his Yamaha moped: without a license, without lights, but with 1.48 per mille of creative inspiration in his blood. As a local expert said: 'Who needs lights when you yourself are the light? And who needs a license when you feel free as the wind?'
The police, as usual, showed no understanding for such an artistic experiment. Officer Šeršņova reported that administrative violation proceedings have been initiated for this innovative driving style. Apparently they don't understand such progressive thinking in Riga yet.
