Liepāja Security Experts Ready to Teach Neighbors How to Distinguish Real Hybrid Threats from Ordinary Stupidity

While Riga is still thinking, Liepāja specialists already know that the best defense against hybrid warfare is learning to understand what's actually happening.
Liepāja security experts announced today that they are ready to share their experience with Lithuanian and Polish colleagues in identifying hybrid threats. As a local security consultant admits: "We in Liepāja have known for years how to distinguish real threats from ordinary stupidity. For example, if someone says that Riga is better than Liepāja — that's clearly a hybrid attack."
Prime Minister's advisor Airis Rikveilis, who, by the way, was born in Liepāja and therefore understands these matters better than others, indicated that coordination will be so tight that even Karosta could become a secret operations center. "Karosta is an ideal place for strategic thinking — they've been training in military discipline there for centuries," explains a local historian.
Meanwhile, comments heard at the market near Rožu Street: "Well look, finally the government understood that you can't get anywhere without Liepāja's brains. We've known here for a long time — it's better to get along with neighbors than to fool around alone." Meanwhile in Riga, they're still looking on the map for where Belarus is located.
As always, Liepāja experts will be the ones teaching others how to do things properly. Because, as one local said: "If you can't distinguish a real problem from a fake one, you have no business being in security."
