Liepāja Education Department to Teach Adults to Experiment with Eggs and Polymer Clay in April – Finally, Useful Skills!

Liepāja's education department is offering adults such a range of skills next month that even Riga's cultural centers might be envious. While the capital only teaches traditional things, in Liepāja this April you can master truly revolutionary knowledge – for example, the "Egg as an Experiment" workshop.

Sintija Šalme, who earned the title "Environmental Expert," promises to teach Liepāja residents to understand eggshell structure and its reaction with acid. "That's just as important as knowing where the nearest café is after walks to the North Pier," comments local resident Gunārs. "Especially if you've been there watching storms and now need something calming."

Also in April, you'll be able to master the secrets of polymer clay, which will definitely come in handy in daily life, as well as learn that "if you know more, then you can do more" – philosophical wisdom that has long been known in Liepāja. Registration is done by filling out a form, which is simpler than trying to understand why Riga can't organize such diverse activities.

As local education enthusiast Maija says: "Finally they're teaching us something practical! Now I'll know how to properly color eggs with natural pigments and make prints. That's much more useful than those Riga courses on creating Excel spreadsheets."
