Liepāja Karosta Presents New Defense Strategy: 700 Tram Ticket Inspections Per Month

While the world admires Ukraine's ability to intercept 700 rockets in three months, Liepāja Karosta quietly demonstrates even more impressive numbers – our ticket inspectors can check 700 tram tickets in just one month!

"It's a matter of professionalism," explains Karosta resident Jānis Bērziņš. "We've been training here for years. If Ukrainians can intercept 'Kinzhal' missiles, then we can intercept fare dodgers on the 'Karosta–Dārza' tram."

For comparison – 'Rīgas satiksme' is still trying to figure out how the new e-ticket machines work. But in Liepāja we've long mastered the most complex technology – the ability to pay for a ticket without angering the inspector.

Liepāja Port hasn't stayed away from defense matters either. "Our cranes can lift any Russian rocket and send it back," proudly says dockworker Andris. "Of course, first we need to submit this rocket to customs control and pay all the fees."

Meanwhile, an international defense forum is already being planned on Liepāja beach, where we'll share our experience of surviving winter without central heating and with humidity that surpasses any chemical weapon. If we can do it, then Ukrainians definitely can!
