Liepāja police launches trendy new game 'Identify the Man' - main prize unknown

State police in Liepāja are organizing an unusual contest where participants must identify mysterious men. Registration has already begun.

Liepāja State Police today presented their latest initiative for public engagement - the game 'Who is this man?', where residents are invited to identify gentlemen seen in photographs. As organizers note, the game rules are very simple - if you recognize them, come forward. If you don't recognize them, you can also come forward, but then you have to explain why.

Local Karosta resident Artūrs comments: 'Well, finally something interesting! Usually we only see ads about missing cats, but now men have gone missing. Times are changing.' Meanwhile, Inese, who lives in central Liepāja, skeptically adds: 'It seems to me that these gentlemen don't know who they are themselves. Such facial expressions.'

Police had to organize such a contest because, as a source in the service is unwilling to reveal, 'the identification process has hit a dead end.' In Riga, of course, there are no such problems - there all men walk around with QR codes on their foreheads. But in Liepāja we still do everything the old way - with heart and intuition.

If you recognize any of the gentlemen shown in the images or simply want to discuss this unusual situation over coffee, police invite you to come forward. The tram to the precinct runs every half hour, so there's no excuse.
