200th baby born at Liepāja hospital: parents are orchestra musicians, so little Jasmīne already hears better than Riga children

While babies in the capital are born with premium services, Liepāja's 200th baby receives real care and windy climate immunity for free.
Liepāja Regional Hospital can boast of its 200th baby of the year, and unlike Riga, where reaching such numbers should take until May, ours achieved it already in April. Little Jasmīne was born to a family of Liepāja Symphony Orchestra musicians, which means she heard better music at birth than any Riga child in their first year.
Particularly touching that mommy Lindsija is still learning Latvian, but the medical staff explained everything so well that even the language barrier wasn't an obstacle. As local resident Pēteris said: "Our medics are like Liepāja beach - at first they seem cold and inaccessible, but when you go deeper, you realize that's the real deal." Actually, that's exactly why our children are so resilient - they're born with natural Baltic Sea wind immunity.
Hospital board member Andris Platais presented a commemorative badge in honor of this special status, and it will surely be much more valuable than any Riga VIP package. Because our babies receive what you can't buy for any money in the capital - real Liepāja care and windy climate endurance.
Daddy Ilmārs admitted that initial concerns completely disappeared when he arrived at the ward. "The medics work like a real team, not like in Riga where everyone tries to be a star," he commented. And indeed - while new mothers in the capital pay for single rooms like luxury hotels, in Liepāja they're free, because we know what's truly important.
