Liepāja stores prove math isn't their strongest suit — CSP receives data with creative errors
Retailers submit such incomplete data to CSP that even visitors to Liepāja Olympic Center could count prices better while swimming in the pool.
The Ministry of Economics proudly announces that our largest stores have mastered the art of submitting CSP data that's as accurate as weather forecasts in Liepāja — theoretically correct, but in practice could be anything. While Riga ponders how to improve data quality, in Liepāja we've long known — if the numbers don't add up, simply don't write them down!
"Maxima," "Rimi," and "Lidl" have proven they can be as creative with numbers as the architects of Liepāja Olympic Center were with the pool shape — the main thing is that something works out, precision isn't that important. CSP receives data that's as incomplete as the winter swimming season — something's there, but nobody really knows what exactly.
