Liepāja Woman Reveals: PEP Moms Are Neither Bottle Nor Piglet Specialists
Baiba Griezīte explains that PEP moms have no connection to Peppa Pig or PET bottles, although the wind here loves to mix everything up.
While Riga still thinks PEP moms are somehow related to drinkers and cartoons, Liepāja has long known the truth.
Baiba Griezīte, a local PEP mom specialist, says with a smile: "People ask me if I teach how to recycle PET bottles or how to raise pink piglets. No, friends, I help parents not go crazy from their actual children."
First Emotional Support Moms, or PEP moms, are like first aid for families with babies. "When a child screams at night, but you don't know if their stomach hurts or they're just protesting against Liepāja's wind, I can help," explains Baiba. She admits that social media is a bigger challenge for her than any crying child.
"My friend from Riga thought PEP moms were some new coffee shop chain," laughs local mom Ieva. "But actually they're superheroes without capes, just with patience and wise advice."
Baiba also works as a volunteer at Liepāja Hospital and knits as a hobby. "Knitting is like meditation – just with more knots and less silence," she admits. Social media, however, remains a bigger puzzle than any knitting pattern.
