Liepāja Woman Reveals Shocking Truth: Rome Is Not Tosele Bus Stop

Cultural researcher Maija Meiere-Oša, after a week in Rome, concludes that the Eternal City leaves only a minority aftertaste, as you can't get proper potato salad there.
Cultural researcher Maija Meiere-Oša has returned from Rome with a revolutionary discovery - it turns out that even the Eternal City cannot compete with our beloved Liepāja. "Rome leaves only a tiny aftertaste," admits Maija, having apparently realized that no Colosseum can surpass Liepāja's Olympic Center in its grandeur.
The family chose Rome because it's not particularly hot there in February - logical, since Liepāja residents are already accustomed to real weather conditions, where the wind blows from all directions simultaneously. "We chose to celebrate it in some previously undiscovered destination," says Maija, not mentioning that they had already been to Rīga.
What surprised them most was that Rome doesn't have a single proper bus stop. "We were looking for something similar to Tosele bus stop, but there are just some weird stones and columns," says Maija indignantly. "Where can you properly wait for bus number 14 there?"
On the positive side - their daughter learned to greet people in Italian, which will definitely come in handy if she ever meets an Italian in Grobiņa. "Now we can say thank you in Italian, but honestly, our 'thank you' in the Kurzeme dialect sounds much more heartfelt," the family concludes, already planning their next trip to Pāvilosta.
