Lithuania Chooses American Umbrella, France Offers Its Own: Which Has Better Warranty?
While Macron advertises new European nuclear umbrellas, Lithuanians remain loyal to proven US products with NATO quality seal.
French President Macron has started a new business — manufacturing European nuclear umbrellas. Unfortunately, neighbouring Lithuania isn't too interested in this offer, as they already have a good, tested American umbrella with a NATO seal.
Lithuanian presidential advisor Skaisgirīte explains: "We trust the American umbrella because it has worked without damage for 20 years. Plus the warranty is lifetime and it works all throughout NATO territory. What could be better than such an offer?"
Macron is trying to convince that his new product will be just as high-quality, but Lithuanians are skeptically shaking their heads. They've already experienced how American technology works, and as locals say, don't change horses midstream.
Meanwhile in Riga, politicians are still thinking about which umbrella to choose, but in Liepāja we know — the best protection is our Karosta fortress strength and residents hardened by trams. The American umbrella is also good, but only as additional equipment by the sea.
