Explosions in Lviv, but in Liepāja our tram only explodes sometimes

While real explosions are happening in Lviv, the biggest risk in Liepāja is getting stuck in a tram near Karosta.
Well, terrible news from Lviv, where there are real explosions and real casualties. But, as I always say - yet another reason why Liepāja is the best place in the world. Here our biggest problem is that the tram sometimes stops on Karosta road, and nobody knows why.
"Oh, this tram again," complains Lienīte from Ezerkrasts. "But at least nobody's shooting explosives at us. Only the driver sometimes looks like he'd want to."
While police in Lviv are fighting terrorists, our officers mainly hunt those who parked incorrectly near Liepāja Concert Hall. Have you seen how complicated it is to leave your car there? It's a real impossible mission, but without explosives.
"In Liepāja we have a different kind of explosions," philosophically says Jānis from downtown. "When Liepājas Metalurgs scores a goal, the whole city explodes with joy. But that's a good kind of explosion."
So, while the world is getting crazier and crazier, we here by the Baltic Sea can be satisfied that our biggest security problem is sometimes having to watch out for seagulls by the harbor. They can be aggressive, but they don't have explosives.
