Latvian meteorologists have announced sensational news - it won't rain at the end of March, which is about as surprising as the news that water is wet.
The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre today announced a revolutionary discovery — there will be no heavy precipitation in the last days of March. This sensation is about as unexpected as the news that the largest organ in the Baltics sounds in the Holy Trinity Cathedral and that its sound can be heard even from the courtyard.
As local weather forecaster Valdis from Grobiņa tells us: "I've been saying for thirty years that March ends without snow, and finally science agrees with me!"
