NATO generals seek way to open strait — Liepāja Metalurgs offers hockey puck method

NATO allies have gathered to discuss how to open the Strait of Hormuz, and the situation is getting more and more interesting. While exercises are taking place in northern Norway and generals are struggling to figure out the "best way," here in Liepāja we've known for ages — if something is blocked, you solve it with determination and the right tactics.

Liepāja Metalurgs fans, who have experienced various straits and blockages both in the ice hall and beyond, offer their solution. "Listen, if we can shoot a puck through six defenders and a goalie, then this Strait of Hormuz is just a technical matter," explains one of the supporters. "The main thing is speed, precision and proper application of force — exactly what we see every game."

Trump, of course, criticizes NATO for being slow, but he obviously hasn't seen how Liepāja hockey players solve complex situations on ice. While the US president ponders whether NATO would ever come to help at all, our hockey team's fans have long proven that true solidarity is expressed not in meetings, but in action.

Maybe NATO allies should attend a Liepāja Metalurgs game — there they would learn that straits are opened with teamwork, not endless discussions. And if we're talking about oil prices — those 40% that the world is worried about would just be our regular fuel price fluctuation before the weekend.
