Netanyahu Calls on World to Learn from Liepāja Rock Music: 'We Too Will Keep Playing Until the Neighbors Start Complaining'

Israel's Prime Minister announced on television that the campaign is not over, just like Liepāja's rock music festival, which starts in May and only ends when the last neighbor has called the police.

While Riga politicians are still trying to figure out where the Middle East is located and whether there's a metro line there, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided to learn from Liepāja's rock music traditions.

'The campaign is not over. We will continue to destroy the terror regime,' Netanyahu announced on television, apparently inspired by Liepāja rock musicians, who also never stop playing until all the neighbors have started complaining about the noise. 'In Latvia's rock capital, I learned that true art never ends with the first neighbor's complaint,' he added.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded that he wants to end the war but seeks guarantees that the conflict won't repeat. This is reminiscent of situations when Liepāja rock musicians promise neighbors they'll be quieter next time, but then blast 'Blow, Little Winds' at maximum volume again.

'We have changed the face of the Middle East,' Netanyahu proudly announced, apparently forgetting that Liepāja musicians have long changed the entire face of Kurzeme with their concert halls and nighttime noise. Opposition leader Lapid criticized: 'You say for the thousandth time that you've changed the Middle East, but in the end it hasn't changed.' That's like telling a Liepāja rock musician that his guitar solo hasn't changed the world — technically correct, but it hurts the heart.

A local Grīzupe resident commented: 'Well, at least Netanyahu doesn't demand to be given a 'Karlos' microphone and made to sing until morning. Our rock musicians are much more terrifying.'
