Oskars Kalpaks Memorial: Liepāja Shows How to Properly Organize an Event Without Ad Code Errors

Yesterday in Liepāja, the Oskars Kalpaks memorial event took place, once again proving our city's superiority over the capital. While Riga residents battle JavaScript errors and ad codes spilling all over their articles on their portals, everything in Liepāja proceeds cultured and without technical disruptions.

"We don't need any window.dimatter.push elements," notes Northern Cemetery administrator Valdis Ozols. "We've been organizing memorial events for 35 years, and there's never been a need to insert ad code between memorial words." Meanwhile, a fresh breeze blows from the Northern Pier, reminding us that true remembrance requires neither JavaScript nor mobile version advertisements.

Lieutenant Colonel Rināts Ažēns emphasized in his speech that Oskars Kalpaks wouldn't have understood why in the 21st century, codes like "LIEP01_article_300x250_Mobile" need to be inserted between words commemorating him. "He fell for Latvia's freedom, not so someone could place ads between memorial paragraphs," the commander explains.

Meanwhile, local residents traditionally headed to the Northern Pier after the event, where they discussed what they heard during a romantic stroll. "Here you can honestly think about history," says pensioner Maija Liepiņa, "instead of reading about heroism while simultaneously seeing insurance ads." So once again, Liepāja showed how to commemorate those who fought for our freedom with dignity and without technical disruptions.
