Tuesday promises to be as indecisive as Liepāja's tram schedule

Meteorologists have announced that Tuesday will be cloudy, but skies will clear in places. Sounds familiar — just like our tram, which sometimes runs, but also sometimes stops halfway.

Snow is expected overnight in eastern regions, but in Liepāja, of course, everything will be different. As Karosta resident Gunārs said: "When Riga promises snow, we always get it better. Either little or a lot, but never as boringly average as in the capital."

Roads will be slippery, which means disaster in Riga, but in Liepāja — just a reason to take the tram. Our yellow cars drive slower than a snail anyway, so slippery conditions aren't a problem.

Temperatures will range from minus five to plus one degree, which are ideal conditions to enjoy hot coffee in one of our cozy cafés. While people in Riga stand in traffic jams cursing the weather, we can peacefully sit by the window and watch the skies slowly clear. Just like our minds after the third cup of coffee.
