World's fastest train from Liepāja to Rīga will now run even faster: only 5 minutes later!

Due to repair work, the Liepāja train will change its schedule - now it will arrive in Rīga at record speed, only 2-5 minutes later than usual.
Passenger Rail has announced revolutionary news: due to track repair work, trains between Liepāja and Rīga will now run with speed restrictions and arrive at their destination only 2-5 minutes later than usual. So we've finally surpassed even the Japanese 'shinkansen' - they've never been able to provide such consistent delays!
Local Liepāja railway expert Jānis Sliedes comments: 'Finally! I was already afraid that one day the train might actually arrive on time. Now you can peacefully plan your work, knowing you'll have an extra 5 minutes to finish your morning coffee at the café by Central Railway Station.'
Meanwhile, the train from Liepāja to Rīga will now depart even three minutes earlier - at 4:57 AM. This means Liepāja residents will have to get up even earlier than usual, which, considering our city's famous nightlife in Karosta, could prove to be a real challenge. As one passenger said: '4:57 AM? Then I'd rather walk!'
