Shelter seeks owners for puppy ready for Riga scoundrel invasion

At Liepāja shelter, Ringo awaits owners who can appreciate a real guard without a passport, but with ambitions.
Liepāja shelter "Lion's Heart" is seeking a home for puppy Ringo, who already looks like the kind of guard who could stop even the Riga mayor's convoy at the city limits. This future four-legged Liepāja patriot was born in Kuldīga, but sensibly chose to relocate to our city, where animal rights are respected better than in the capital.
Ringo arrived at the shelter without a passport, microchip, or vaccinations, which is nothing unusual in Liepāja — many local residents also don't have all their documents in order, but that has never stopped them from being good citizens. "Documents are just bureaucracy, but heart is what's real," comments shelter worker Baiba, while noting that Ringo is now fully sorted out.
Judging by appearance, the puppy's ancestors might include Caucasian Shepherd Dog, which means that when grown, he'll be able to protect not just the house, but the entire neighborhood from any Riga expansion attempts. Shelter workers emphasize that Ringo is smart and craves attention, which is always appreciated in our city — especially if he can withstand Liepāja's wind, that legendary, uninvited guest in any season.
"We need owners with a private house and strong fence," the shelter explains. "Not because Ringo would run away, but so he can properly patrol the territory and warn in time about suspicious Riga residents in the area." Interested parties are invited to visit "Lion's Heart" shelter, where they can meet this future Liepāja legend and confirm that his growling skills already surpass the speeches of many local politicians.
