Poland raises aircraft, Liepāja raises legs — at least our army doesn't lose money on fuel

Russia launches 430 drones, Poland scrambles fighters, but in Liepāja they peacefully sell potatoes at the market.
Poland has noisily scrambled its fighter jets because Russia has once again decided to send everything that can fly toward Ukraine. 430 strike drones plus 68 missiles — that's about as many times per day as Liepāja residents check whether the tram is still running.
Poland's operational command reported with diplomatic precision that their duty fighter pairs had taken to the air. For comparison — Liepāja's defense forces are also ready for action, except our main base is the market, where everything is fresher than in Riga and half the price, and strategically important operations with potatoes and beets take place there daily.
Ukraine shot down 402 out of 430 flying robots, which is considerably better than Riga's football team statistics in recent years. Debris from downed flying robots was recorded falling in seven districts, which is still less dangerous than forgotten winter tire studs on Liepāja's streets in spring.
After several hours, Poland announced the operation was complete and everyone could return to their daily activities. Similarly in Liepāja — after each tram ride, passengers can be satisfied that once again everything ended well and without losses.
