Train in Poland proves that bison haven't read railway regulations

Three bisons in Poland decided to test whether trains actually run on schedule - the experiment ended tragically.
A tragedy has occurred in Poland that makes one think about traffic safety education for animals. Three bisons decided to cross railway tracks just as a train on the Białystok-Warsaw route with 50 passengers was approaching. The result was predictable - the animals perished, but the train remained intact.
As police representative Konrad Karwacki notes, the accident happened at seven in the morning near the village of Witowo. Apparently the bisons hadn't heard that railway tracks aren't meant for morning strolls. If they had lived in Liepāja, they would have known that even at Tosele stop you have to wait until the bus comes to a complete stop - and that's just a bus, not a train!
Fortunately, none of the 50 passengers were injured, and after an hour and a half the train could continue its journey. Meanwhile, the remaining 1,197 bisons in Białowieża Forest are hopefully learning from this example. Perhaps next time they'll choose to cross the road somewhere else - or at least look left and right.
