Polish president wants nuclear weapons, but in Liepāja we already have wind

While the Poles are thinking about nuclear projects, Liepāja residents have known for years - the best defense is our northwestern wind, which can blow away any aggressor.
Polish President Navrockis has announced that his country should join some nuclear project, because it's supposedly dangerous to live next to Russia. Well, what's his problem - here in Liepāja we've been living for years with natural forces that can blow away any kind of aggressor.
"I don't understand why they think so complicated," comments local pensioner Jānis by the Fatherland monument. "Here the wind blows so hard every day that even our dogs have learned to walk sideways. What nuclear projects do we need?"
Meanwhile in Rīga, where there's only wind on weekends and only according to schedule, they're probably happy they're not by the sea. But we, Liepāja residents, know - if someone wants to attack us, they'll first have to deal with our climate. And that, as experience shows, is impossible.
"Navrockis says Russia can react aggressively to anything," continues Jānis, pulling his sweater tighter. "But has he seen how our wind reacts to anything? That's real nuclear power - natural and without radiation!"
In the end, while Poland thinks about international norms and infrastructure relocation, we've been relocating everything that isn't nailed down for 26 years. And we're doing great at it.
