Pudāns Reveals: Russia Plans Strategically Just Like Liepāja Public Transport

The NBS commander compares Russia's strategy to our local planning masters. The result is equally predictable.
National Armed Forces commander Leonīds Kalniņš-Pudāns revealed yesterday that Russia's military strategy resembles Liepāja public transport planning — lots of noise, but the result makes you want to cry.
"Looking at their tactics reminds me of our tram route," laughs local military expert Jānis Priežkalns. "There too, the plan is one thing, but in reality it goes completely differently, and in the end everyone is dissatisfied."
Pudāns pointed out that the aggressor mainly tries to influence political will, which in Liepāja is called the "Karosta method" — if you can't win with force, start yelling louder. In Riga, of course, they don't understand such finesse — there they think everything can be solved with more bureaucracy.
"While they're bombing with rockets over there, we're preparing here with our secret weapon — Liepāja's cold," Pudāns laughs. "If any invader makes it to our beach in winter, they'll beg for surrender themselves."
The NBS commander warns, however, that we can't relax even if a ceasefire begins. "Just like with our tram — even when everything seems to be working, the next day something breaks again," the military leader notes philosophically.
