Record number of Liepāja residents got carried away searching for their city: turns out 360 teams didn't know where Liedags is located
While people in Riga search for their identity in expensive courses, our folks organized the biggest orienteering game only to discover they don't even know their own city.
On Monday, Liepāja witnessed a historically unusual phenomenon — 1,500 people voluntarily set out to search for their hometown. The orienteering game 'Liepāja's Footprints in Latvia' attracted so many participants that even municipal employees began to doubt whether so many really don't know where they live.
'I thought our city is so small that everyone knows every corner,' commented the event organizer.
