Riga Ladies Search for Animals While Liepāja Searches for a New Bass Player

Riga Zoo has announced a special orienteering game for ladies that will combine animal searching with team activities. Such an initiative has only raised questioning looks in Liepāja, as our city has had its own orienteering event for years — searching for a quality music store where you can buy guitar strings.

Game participants will be led through zoo paths and exhibits to learn more about animal species and zoo secrets. Local musician Inese Kalniņa comments: "We also have our own animals in Liepāja — they're drummers who only appear after midnight and make strange sounds. Orienteering among them is a real challenge." That's exactly why Liepāja is Latvia's rock capital — legends are born here because musicians must know how to orienteer not only among musical notes, but also among various nocturnal creatures.

Each team can have three to five participants, which resembles an ideal rock band lineup. In Riga, everything is complicated again — you have to buy tickets, plan routes, prepare tasks. In Liepāja, such a game takes place every weekend in a natural environment: try to find a free spot at a Pērkons concert on Bird Island, and you've already won.
