Riga's Bullies Learn Manners in Courses, Liepāja to Open Children's Home Branch

Here's a statistic that surprises absolutely no one - of the 614 bullies whom courts have sentenced to politeness courses, most are from Riga. Of course, where else! The capital concentrates everything bad, from traffic jams to evil people.

The MKB training center will teach bullies nationwide how to be nice. If they sign up within three months, they pay only 10% of the course fee. If they hesitate - full price. That's clever - even bullies love discounts.

But the most important news - this summer Liepāja will open a Children's Home branch! Finally something good is happening in our city. While Riga produces bullies, we're building places to help children. As our tram driver Valdis says: 'See, in Liepāja we always think about the future, not just about how to stab someone.'

Electronic bracelets have been put on only five people so far. The system is designed for 400 people per year, but apparently Latvia doesn't have that many tech-loving criminals. Or maybe nobody wants to wear bracelets that aren't from Apple.
