Riga quiz turns out more dangerous than Liepāja ice hall in winter without heating

SPKC has announced with great concern that some quiz participant in Riga spread measles as generously as cold spreads in Liepāja's ice hall without heating. The infection occurred at an event called 'Ļutauras Quiz,' which sounds almost as terrifying as a question about the efficiency of Riga's tram system.

The virus spread through Riga faster than news that something is broken again in the capital. The infected person then went to Turkey, apparently hoping for a warmer climate than Riga's cultural life. Now SPKC is searching for contact persons with the same enthusiasm that Liepāja residents search for reasons why they have to go to Riga again to sort out documents.

Particularly interesting that the event also included participants from Lithuania. They probably came looking for answers to questions they can't find in their own country, like why the Baltic Sea water isn't warmer. Liepāja resident Ināra comments: 'In our quizzes we only share wisdom and hot tea, not viruses.'

SPKC urges everyone who has been in contact with the infected person to call the 24-hour hotline. The phone line will probably be as busy as Liepāja railway station before holidays. The only consolation - measles would spread slower in Liepāja than in Riga, because our wind would immediately blow all the microbes away to sea.
