The weather service has announced sensational news - Latvia will have a sunny day! But, as usual, Liepāja will again be in a better position than the rest of the country. While elsewhere the thermometer will show down to -9 degrees, our city will have only -6. What is this if not nature's own recognition of our city's excellence?
"I'm already thinking I'll have to go to Liepāja to sunbathe," says Riga resident Inese, who heard the weather forecast on the tram this morning. "It's always better there than here." Indeed, even the sun understands that Liepāja deserves privileges.
