Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced sensational news to the British Parliament – 201 Ukrainian military experts are now working in the Persian Gulf desert, teaching locals how to distinguish a "Shahed" drone from the latest "Mercedes" model. Another 34 specialists are waiting their turn for deployment to the oil wells.
Ukrainian experts have already arrived in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, where they will teach sheikhs that a drone is not a new type of toy, but a dangerous thing to protect against. Next week, specialists will also head to Kuwait, where they plan to establish a special training center "How not to confuse a drone with a golden toy helicopter".
As one expert who wished to remain anonymous admits: "On the first day, they showed us a suitcase with millions of dollars and asked if it looked like a drone. We realized there would be a lot of work." For comparison – in Riga, such experts are still learning to distinguish traffic jams from combat operations.
