Ventspils man proves he can be more aggressive than the bus schedule at Tosele stop

Ventspils this week proved that its residents can be just as unpredictable as the bus schedule at Tosele stop - you never know if what's approaching you will be friendly or carrying an axe.
It all started with a classic situation - some guy had his music so loud that neighbors started considering emigration. Municipal police arrived with a request to lower the volume, which in Liepāja would have ended with apologies and quieter music. But in Ventspils? There the man went for an axe and knife, as if preparing to build a house rather than resolve a neighbor dispute.
"I thought he was inviting us to do some garden work together," commented local resident Jānis Bērzkalns. "But it turned out he was planning to use us as firewood."
The inspectors proved they're as nimble as a Liepāja tram driver avoiding obstacles - they held doors, used pepper spray and special techniques. While in Riga such a situation would last hours with bureaucratic negotiation processes, in Ventspils everything was resolved in a matter of minutes.
The man, who had already been in the police client database, can now add to his CV the point "experience working with various tools." Though employers might not be particularly thrilled about this method of tool usage.
