American diplomat Vitkof has announced that a new round of talks to end the Ukraine war could take place within three weeks. This timeframe seems optimistic, considering that even Liepāja city council makes decisions about tram ticket prices faster.
Vitkof suggests that these talks could achieve an agreement for a meeting between Zelensky and Putin, with Trump also participating. "It would be like rock concerts on Liepāja beach – everyone wants to be there, but nobody knows if rain will ruin the whole event," commented local political expert Jānis from a Karosta café.
